The purpose of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (SCC in Latvia) is to:

• Strengthen co-operation between Sweden and Latvia
• Promote the interests of its Members by offering various seminars and meetings
• Serve as a social network for Swedish and Latvian business people
•  Encourage and expand trade and investment between Sweden and Latvia.

The SCC in Latvia is an independent legal entity based in Riga, Latvia. Established on June 19th, 1996. The Chamber is a non-governmental, non-profit association. Membership is determined by application to the SCC in Latvia board.

The Chamber has 93 members representing a large range of industries. These include forestry, construction, textiles manufacturing, retail trade, wholesale trade and services such as banking, telecom, audit facilities, consultation, information technology, hotels, Education and other.
