Eolus Vind AB was founded in 1990. At the time it was the first commercial wind power developer in Sweden. The company’s business concept was primarily to establish and own wind power facilities for electricity generation. However, the expertise that the company gained in the establishment of wind power facilities was soon in demand from other stakeholders. Therefore, the business concept evolved at an early stage to add the development and establishment of turnkey wind power facilities for customers. The development and establishment of turnkey facilities is now the company’s main segment. Other segments are electricity generation, and operation and management.

Eolus is now one of Sweden’s leading wind power developers.
