SCCL Sustainability Platform | WG's 1st online session

The recently formed SCCL Sustainability Platform | WG will host its first educational and experience-sharing online meeting on December 3rd, from 10:00 to 11:30 on Zoom.
The session will feature:

* Jekaterina Novicka from Orients Audit & Finance, who will introduce the topic of “Digitization and ESG Data Systems”

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is being adopted across EU Member States. Latvia has already transposed it into the Sustainability Information Disclosure Law and amended ten related legislative acts. New concepts such as double materiality and value chain have been introduced by the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Digital, iXBRL reporting is on the horizon. What does this mean for business and reporting processes? How can management ensure companies remain sustainable and compliant with the regulations?
