Roundtable on Latvian Medical and Health Tourism Development and Strategy for the Future

On March 6, 2019 (Order No. 109), the Latvian Government approved an “Export DevelopmentPlan of Health Care Services for 2019-2023”, identifying priority sectors and export markets in the world.

The foreign Chambers are jointly inviting members: tourism companies, tour operators, hotels and other institutions working in the health and tourism sectors to join a roundtable discussion, focusing on what does the „Export Development Plan of Health Care Services for 2019-2023” imply and how the local players can join in and benefit from the implementation of the strategy.

The round table discussion will take place on 27 June 2019, between 10:00 and 12:00 at LIAA, Pērses iela 2, Riga. If  you are interested to take part in the discussion, please register by e-mail to the Swedish Chamber scc@scc.lv latest by June 25.

The topics that will be covered are:

Which sectors and what countries are targeted and what activities are planned in each of the priority markets?
How can Latvian health care providers, tour operators, hotels and other related companies join in attracting medical and health care customers from abroad!?
