20th AGM & New Board Members

It is a pleasure to announce that the 20th Annual General Meeting of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia gathered more than 50 Society members and their authorized representatives yesterday, 11 may 2016 at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
The Meeting was opened by the speech by Mr. Arvils Aseradens, Minister of Economics underlining the importance of the key mailstones boosting the economy: improved skills, higher productivity and more investments.  The Minister also extended his congratulations to the Chamber celebrating 20 years anniversary !

During the AGM, 6 new Board Members were elected:
Mats Kjaer, Individual member - elected as Deputy Chairman for 2 years

Ansis  Murnieks, Business Sweden  - elected for 2 years

Helen Holgersson, Clarion Collection Hotel VALDEMARS - elected for 2 years

Raimonds Graudins, Stockholm School of Economics in Riga - elected for 2 years

Johan Askbom, SEB Banka AS - elected for 2 years

Valters Gencs, Gencs Valters Law Firm - elected for 1 year
