Best Employer in Riga in 2016 — Tele2 Shared Service Center

  On November 16 at the House of the Blackheads, the Employers’ Confederation of Latvia (LDDK) presented results of their annual „Best Employer of the year” award, where the as the Best Employer in Riga in 2016 was announced the most rapidly growing information technology, telecommunications and financial management support center in Latvia — Tele2 Shared Service Center (Tele2 SSC).

During the ceremony LDDK presented awards to the best employers in Latvia both in private and public sectors that have made a significant contribution in business development in Latvia. This way LDDK wants to express gratitude to those hard-working employers, who are taking care not only of the future of their business, but also boosting the national economy and fostering overall welfare in the state.

LDDK Director General Līga Meņģelsone: „Tele2 Shared Service Center being one of the award winners is an excellent example of contemporary business trends — innovations-based development, up-to-date technologies, and highly qualified staff. These enterprises have realized the increasing role of human resources, importance of social dialogue, they support the local community and overall in their action demonstrate the principles of corporate social responsibility.”

This year over 320 enterprises, institutions and business leaders competed for the award presented by LDDK. Only 22 most powerful nominees were selected by the jury panel in the end. The jury panel, which assessed all candidates, included representatives of the public sector, as well as local social and collaboration partners.
