The interest regarding the way how different cultures affect organizational work culture has grown greatly, considering that the Nordic and Baltic companies cooperate more frequently than ever before and the number of employees working for companies in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden increase. Thus, the aim of the survey was to gather information on the stereotypes about the Nordic and Baltic employees that are common in the organizations. Many of the cultural stereotypes existing in the Nordic-Baltic region were confirmed, yet there are also many similar approaches presented across the region. The results gave us a better understanding of each others expectations, motives and behavior, opportunities to adapt leadership style and team management approach to the local culture and effectively build and embed organizational values in other country’s subsidiaries. Therefore, the results of the survey are useful for both: the companies already operating in Nordic-Baltic region and those considering opening new entities in the region, in the Baltic States, in particular.
