YOUTH FORUM 2016

Mentor project organized by the

Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and the Swedish Embassy in Latvia

From November until December 2016 the SCCL and the Swedish Embassy in Latvia will organize the 3rd “Youth Forum”. This year the target is to reach even higher Swedish company involvement in the mentoring project.

Goal of the “Youth Forum” is to combine a practical knowledge with a theoretical about the values that are fundamental for the Swedish business environment: corporate social responsibility, sustainability, transparency, good governance and other.

Target group: university level students from Latvia with different backgrounds, who are interested in Swedish - Latvian business interactions.

Time: November December. In total 3 learning sessions from 14:00-17:00 (on Thursdays or Fridays).

Framework & Content: Each lecture consists of 2 presentations / workshops (1.5 hours long) on a subject that the members of the SCCL feels that they have the most experience and knowledge about. For instance: Swedish / Latvian business environment differences; CSR; sustainability; social media; communication with potential employer etc.
